Rodent Panic is my first java 3d game (enhanced by jsr-184). Josh the Squirrel was kidnapped by Toxic Industry secret labs to be used as a guinea pig!!! To save this sweet squirrel, you must guide him through all the mazes between him and the exit. The game is a classic platform, to complete each level and go to the next one, you must reach the sign "GOAL" and avoid to fly out from the maze. I've developed 3d stuff for a lot of time before creating j2me 2d games, so I've been very happy when I've been able to code on 3d again. All the graphics in this game is created by Danilo Planera a great and very experienced 3d modeler and texturer artist, which is also Paint Racer's artist. The goal with Rodent Panic was to create an immediate and spectacular 3d game that was very easy to pick-up-and-play, and I think that we've managed to achieve this result: the action is fast, it even reminds me a little of "therapeutic" games like "Tony Hawk" or "Wipeout", which are fun and relaxing to play, without even bothering WHY you're playing! Sony Ericsson have also made a very interesting article about Rodent Panic (and me :), on their development site: Click Here to read it!
PS: Rodent Panic's graphics aren't mine (nor the musics, created by the great musician and programmer Simone Cecchini), but mine is the voice (and sample editing) behind Josh's voice... it was very fun say "WHOOAAAA", "LET'S GO" and so on all the day... :)
